The term "Little Ivies" is a nickname used to refer to a group of prestigious liberal arts schools in New England. All eleven of these small private colleges are known for the being highly-selective, offering exceptional academics and beautiful campuses. All of these schools are also part of the the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC), which is an NCAA Division III athletic conference.
