Southwest Texas State is on a 495-acre campus in a suburban setting in San Marcos, Texas, not far from San Antonio and Austin. Southwest Texas State has many clubs, organizations, and activities for students to participate in – band, chorus, theater groups, a campus newspaper, a radio station and more.
Southwest Texas State also has fraternities and sororities.
Southwest Texas State has a thriving Veterans Alliance of Texas State. In fact, more students participate in Veterans Alliance of Texas State than any other on-campus activity.
