The University of Virginia’s College at Wise (UVA Wise) is a public, four-year residential liberal arts college located in the beautiful mountains of Southwest Virginia. The University of Virginia's College at Wise is a public, state school in the small town setting of Wise, Virginia. UVA Wise was founded in 1954 and enrolls 1,905 undergrads and no graduate students. UVA Wise provides on-campus housing for up to 749 students. The majority of students live on campus, and first year-students are required to live in campus housing.
