Skidmore College Overview

Skidmore College is a private, nonprofit school in a small town setting in Saratoga Springs, New York. Skidmore was founded in 1903 and enrolls 2,582 undergrads and no graduate students. Skidmore provides on-campus housing for up to 2,126 students. The majority of students live on campus, and first year-students are required to live in campus housing.

There are many ways for students to get involved at Skidmore! Love music or performing? Sing in a chorus or perform with one of Skidmore's theater groups.

Interested in journalism or communications? Skidmore students can write for the campus newspaper, host a radio show or be a producer for the student-run television channel.

There are no fraternities or sororities at Skidmore, so it might be a good choice if you're not interested in Greek life.

Is Skidmore a Good School?
