Sandhills is on a 240-acre campus in a small town setting in Pinehurst, North Carolina. Sandhills has many clubs, organizations, and activities for students to participate in – band, chorus, theater groups, a campus newspaper, and more.
Sandhills does not have fraternities or sororities.
Sandhills has a thriving Rotaract (Service Club - College Affiliate of Rotary International). In fact, more students participate in Rotaract (Service Club - College Affiliate of Rotary International) than any other on-campus activity.
Other popular student organizations at Sandhills include Student Government Association, Outdoors Club, New Beginning Gospel Choir and Revolutionary Gamers Club.
Sandhills students' favorite campus events are Spring Fling, College Days and Health Career Day.
Sandhills does not offer housing.
All Sandhills students live off campus Sandhills does not offer coed housing or housing for students with disabilities.
College is like a home away from home. Whether you're walking to class or coming back from late-night studying (or partying!), it's important to feel safe on campus. The Sandhills campus has emergency telephones or alarms for students to use anytime of day or night.
Additionally, Sandhills has security on duty until 12 am.
Visiting colleges is one of the best ways to get a sense of the campus and student body. If you'd like to visit to Sandhills, take U.S. Highway 1 to Pinehurst, NC. If you need to fly, book your flight to Moore County airport.
