Naropa University is on a 12-acre campus in an urban setting in Boulder, Colorado, not far from Denver. There are many activities and organizations for Naropa University students to participate in – chorus, theater groups, , and more.
Naropa University does not have fraternities or sororities.
Naropa University has a thriving Student Union of Naropa. In fact, more students participate in Student Union of Naropa than any other on-campus activity.
Other popular student organizations at Naropa University include ROOT: Reconnecting on Outdoor Terrain, Permaculture Coalition, Students of Color and Allies and Kirtan and Raga Singing.
The Naropa University community comes together each year for Halloween Dance, Practice Day and Leadership and Activism Dinner.
Naropa University offers housing for students. Students are required to live on campus through freshman year. First year students are guaranteed on-campus housing.
Most Naropa University students live off campus. In 2021, 20% of undergrads at Naropa University lived in some kind of on-campus housing and 80% of students lived off-campus or commuted to Naropa University. There are 95 spots available in on-campus housing for all 320 undergraduates. In the 2020-21 school year, 68 students chose to live on-campus. First year students are allowed to park a car on campus.
