There are many activities and organizations for Meredith students to join – including chorus, theater groups, a campus newspaper, and more.

Interested in Greek life? Meredith does not have fraternities or sororities.

Meredith has the Student Government Association. In fact, more students participate in the Student Government Association than any other on-campus activity.

Other popular student organizations at Meredith include Entertainment Association, Recreation Association, Class Organizations and choral groups.

The Meredith community comes together each year for Cornhuskin', Day of Celebration and Spring Formal.

Does Meredith Offer Student Housing?

Meredith offers housing. Students are required to live on campus through sophomore year. First year students are guaranteed on-campus housing.

Most Meredith students live off campus. In 2022, 44% of undergrads at Meredith lived in some kind of on-campus housing and 56% of students lived off-campus or commuted to Meredith. First year students are allowed to park a car on campus.

Meredith does not offer coed housing or housing for students with disabilities.

Meredith offers late-night transportation or safety escorts for students. Dorms can only be accessed with secure key cards so that students can feel confident that they are safe in on-campus housing.
