Appalachian State University is a public, state school in a small town setting in Boone, North Carolina. App State was founded in 1899 and now enrolls around 20,023 students a year, including 18,061 undergrads. App State provides on-campus housing for up to 6,171 students. Most students live in off campus housing, and 60% of students spend their weekends on campus .

Is App State a Good School?
