ACC is on a 114-acre campus in a suburban setting in Alvin, Texas, not far from Houston. ACC has many clubs, organizations, and activities for students to participate in – chorus, theater groups, , a radio station and more.
ACC does not have fraternities or sororities.
ACC has a thriving Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. In fact, more students participate in Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society than any other on-campus activity.
Other popular student organizations at ACC include Black Student Association, DECA Collegiate, Student Government Association and Pride Alliance.
ACC students' favorite campus events are Fall Festival, Constitution Day and Job Readiness Week.
ACC does not offer housing.
All ACC students live off campus First year students are allowed to park a car on campus.ACC does not offer coed housing or housing for students with disabilities.
College is like a home away from home. Whether you're walking to class or coming back from late-night studying (or partying!), it's important to feel safe on campus.
Alvin Community College is patroled 24 hours a day by trained security.
ACC offers late-night transportation or safety escorts for students.
Additionally, ACC has Vehicle Assist, emergency messages.
Visiting colleges is one of the best ways to get a sense of the campus and student body. If you'd like to visit to ACC, take Highway 35 to Alvin, TX. If you need to fly, book your flight to William P. Hobby airport.
