Mary Washington Academics

University of Mary Washington requires at least 122 semester hours to graduate with a bachelor's degree. If students would like to graduate in less time than normal, they can choose the accelerated degree program. Around 65% of students who started college at Mary Washington complete all the credits required within six years. Mary Washington offers an orientation program before the start of fall classes to prepare new students for college life.

What Classes Are Required at Mary Washington?

Mary Washington has a core curriculum, which means there are certain classes or types of classes all students must take to graduate. Students are required to fulfill a lanuage requirement as well as a math and science requirement. Students are not required to take a computer class to graduate.
