SUNY Buffalo Academics

University at Buffalo, the State University of New York requires a minimum of 120 credit hours to graduate with a bachelor's degree. If students would like to graduate in less time than normal, they can choose the accelerated degree program. Around 75% of students who started college at SUNY Buffalo finish the requirements for graduation within six years. SUNY Buffalo offers an orientation program before the start of fall classes to prepare new students for college life.

What Classes Are Required at SUNY Buffalo?

SUNY Buffalo has a core curriculum, which means there are certain classes or types of classes all students must take to graduate. Students do not need to fulfull a language requirement , but there is a math and science requirement. Students do not have to take a computer class.
