Students can choose the accelarated degree program if they would like to finish all the credits for graduation in less time than normal. Rust College accepts transfer credits. The school accepts AP creditbut not IB credits. Additionally, Rust College has a summer session, so students can earn credits during the summer.

Double Majoring at Rust College
Rust College offers students the option to double major, if they would like. Student struggling to choose just one area of study may consider a double major.
NOTE: Double majoring may require more work but it can provide an interesting mix of experience that helps students stand out when looking for a job or applying to grad school.

❌ Rust College does not have distance learning options or fully-online programs, so students must be able to attend classes on-campus.
✅ Rust College offers some credit for Advanced Placement (AP) classes taken in high school. Schools have different requirements for what AP scores they accept, so some students may not receive AP credit.
✅ Rust College offers an honors program for highly-qualified applicants, but does not offer a Freshman Honors College.
❌ Students at Rust College are not required to complete an internship as a graduation requirement.
Students can still look for internships during the summer, or gain work experience with a part-time job.
The main library on campus is the Leontyne Price Library and there are no other libraries on campus.
A dual degree program allows a student to study and earn two degrees at the same time.
