Polk State College Academics

Polk State College requires a minimum of 120 credit hours to complete a bachelor's degree. If students would like to graduate in less time than normal, they can choose the accelerated degree program. Polk State College offers an orientation program before the start of fall classes to prepare new students for college life.

Which Courses Are Required at Polk State College?

Polk State College does not have a core curriculum. Since there are no specific-classes required in order to graduate, students have a lot of flexibiity about what classes they choose to take. Students are not required to fulfill a lanuage requirement , but there is a math and science requirement. Students are not required to take a computer class to graduate.
