BCC Academics

Bethune-Cookman University requires a minimum of 124 credit hours to graduate with a bachelor's degree. Students can choose the accelarated degree program if they would like to finish all the credits for graduation in less time than normal. Around 33% of students who started college at BCC finish the requirements for graduation within six years. BCC offers an orientation program before the start of fall classes to prepare new students for college life.

Does BCC Offer Credit for AP Classes?

BCC offers some credit for Advanced Placement (AP) classes taken in high school. Schools have different requirements for what AP scores they accept, so some students may not receive AP credit.

Does BCC Have An Honor's Program?

BCC offers an honors program for highly-qualified applicants, and does not offer a Freshman Honors College. The Freshman Honors college provides a rich curriculum for highly-motivated first-year students.

Does BCC Require Internships?

BCC does not require an internship for all students Students can still look for internships during the summer, or gain work experience with a part-time job.
