Limit one (1) entry per person, per email address. Participants should submit only an email address subscribed and registered in their name. Once submitted an entry cannot be deleted, canceled or modified. In the event of a dispute as to entries submitted by multiple individuals using the same email account, subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization which is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address.
DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION: One Prize of $1,000 (the “Prize”) drawing will take place from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period at the end of the Sweepstakes Period, on or about August 31, 2021. The Prize drawing will be conducted by the Administrator, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. The odds of winning the Prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The winner will be contacted by the email address that they provided on their entry form.
PRIZE: $1,000 cash equivalent to be delivered via an electronic method
PRIZE CLAIMS: Except where prohibited by law, potential Prize Winners must sign and return to Sponsor within two (2) business days of receipt, a Declaration of Eligibility & Liability/Publicity Release (the “Release”). If the Prize winner is a minor, then the parent or guardian of the winner will need to sign the Required Documents. If potential Prize Winner fails to return the Required Documents within two (2) business days of receipt, potential Prize Winner forfeits his/her right to the Prize and another potential Prize Winner will be selected at random from among the remaining non-winning eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.The Prize Winner consents (and agrees to sign any additional documents required by Sponsor to formalize, effect or perfect such consent, except where prohibited by law) to Sponsor’s use of his/her name, likeness (photograph and/or video), biographical information, and voices in advertising/publicity/trade in all media without compensation, notice or approval; and, the Prize Winner disclaims any ownership rights of such advertising/publicity/trade material.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Should any portion of the Sweepstakes be, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole discretion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and/or conduct the Sweepstakes in a manner which in its sole discretion is fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules. Notice of such action by Sponsor will be posted on www.collegeconfidential.com. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to award the Prize at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify or reject any incomplete, inaccurate or false entry. ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW, AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. SPONSOR'S FAILURE TO ENFORCE ANY TERM OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL NOT CONSTITUTE A WAIVER OF THESE PROVISIONS.
RELEASE: By participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and each of its officers, directors, managers, employees, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, members, shareholders, insurers, servants, divisions, predecessors, successors, representatives, dealers, distributors, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, including the Independent Administrator, consultants and legal advisors (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of or in any way related to the Entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt, redemption or use of the Prize.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (i); unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (ii) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; (iii) any injury, damage or loss (including death) to persons or property of any kind, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from Entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes or from the receipt, use or misuse of the Prize; (iv) any printing or typographical errors in any Sweepstakes-related materials; (v) stolen, lost, late, misdirected, corrupted, incomplete, or indecipherable entries; or (vi) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, mobile device, cable, network, hardware or software.
EXECUTION OF WAIVER: In order to receive the Prize, the winner may have to sign an official waiver form provided by the Sponsor.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT THAT ENTRANT READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS: By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants agree that they have read and fully understood these Official Rules and agree to be bound by them. If you disagree with any of these terms and conditions then you may not enter this Sweepstakes.
USE OF DATA: All information submitted by entrants will be treated according to Sponsor’s privacy policy, available at https://www.collegeconfidential.com/privacy-policy/ and as well as the Terms of Service available at https://www.collegeconfidential.com/terms-of-service/ and. By participating in the Sweepstakes and providing your e-mail address, entrants hereby agree to Concentrical LLC’s collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with the Sweepstakes or the prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of Oregon. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, an entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Oregon, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of New Jersey or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Oregon.
