Question: Are extracurricular certificates required for getting admission in an Ivy League college?
No!!! Colleges do NOT want them and you will probably make admission officials groan if you send them anyway. If, on rare occasion, a college does need "proof" of your involvement in an activity, they will ask for it specifically. Otherwise, do NOT send extracurricular participation or award certificates to colleges.
