Question: When will the 2010-2011 Common Application be available?
The Common Application will be late this year ... August 1 instead of the usual July 1.
There's been a lot of chatter about the date change on the NACAC (National Association for College Admission Counseling) listserve lately. About half of those posting are complaining about the switch ("July is often the quietest month and a good time for rising seniors to get started") and the other half applauding it ("These over-scheduled kids need some time just to kick back.")
In any case, you can find a preview version of it here https://www.commonapp.org/CommonApp/docs/downloadforms/CommonApp2011.pdf , if your child doesn't want to "kick back" in July.
