Southwestern Academics

Southwestern Oklahoma State University requires a minimum of 120 credit hours to complete a bachelor's degree.

Students can choose the accelarated degree program if they would like to finish all the credits for graduation in less time than normal. Southwestern accepts transfer credits. The school accepts AP creditbut not IB credits. Additionally, Southwestern has a summer session, so students can earn credits during the summer.

NOTE: Around 40% of students who start college at Southwestern graduate within six years.

Southwestern offers an orientation program before the start of fall classes to prepare new students for college life.
