New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology offers housing for students. Students are not required to live on campus. First year students are given no special consideration for on-campus housing. There are 807 spots available in on-campus housing for all 1,236 undergraduates. In the 2022-2023 school year, 678 students chose to live in campus housing. First year students are allowed to park a car on campus.
