MMC Student Activities

MMC has many clubs, organizations, and activities for students to join – including chorus, a campus newspaper, and more.

Interested in Greek life? MMC does not have fraternities or sororities.

MMC has the Programming and Activities Council. In fact, more students participate in the Programming and Activities Council than any other on-campus activity.

Other popular student organizations at MMC include Student Government Association, International Club, Caroline Hall Council and Department Affiliated Clubs.

The MMC community comes together each year for Weeks of Welcome and Spring Formal.

Does MMC Offer Student Housing?

MMC offers on-campus housing. Students are required to live on campus through freshman year. First year students are given priority for on-campus housing.

Most MMC students live off campus. In 2022, 21% of undergrads at MMC lived in some kind of on-campus housing and 79% of students lived off-campus or commuted to MMC. There are 245 spots available in on-campus housing for all 716 undergraduates. In the 2021-2022 school year, 175 students chose to live on-campus. On the weekends, about 20% students stay on-campus. First year students are allowed to park a car on campus.

MMC does not offer coed housing or housing for students with disabilities.

MMC Athletics

MMC does not have any athletic programs or the school has not reported any information on their athletic teams.

Is MMC Safe?

College is like a home away from home. Whether you're walking to class or coming back from late-night studying (or partying!), it's important to feel safe on campus.

Mount Mary University is patroled 24 hours a day by trained security. The MMC campus has emergency telephones or alarms for students to use anytime of day or night.

MMC offers late-night transportation or safety escorts for students.
