There is no accelarated degree program at Kenyon College, but students who wish to save money or graduate early can look into transferring in credits. Kenyon College accepts transfer credits. The school accepts AP credit and IB credits. Many students like to take classes in the summer, to earn extra credits. However, Kenyon College does not offer classes during the summer.

Student Designed Majors
Kenyon College allows students to design their own major, if desired. If students would like to study something that is not offered as an official major, designing their own major is a great alternative.
Students are not required to complete a senior project unless it is required for their specific major.
Double Majoring at Kenyon College
Kenyon College offers students the option to double major, if they would like. Student struggling to choose just one area of study may consider a double major.
NOTE: Double majoring may mean taking more courses, but it can provide an interesting mix of experience that helps students stand out when looking for a job or applying to a graduate program.

Prospective students can contact the college's Office of Accessibility Services to learn more about any support and accomodations offered. These conversations are usually kept confidential and will not be shared with the admissions office if you do not wish to share.
❌ Kenyon College does not have distance learning options or fully-online programs, so students must be able to attend classes on-campus.
✅ Kenyon College offers some credit for Advanced Placement (AP) classes taken in high school. Schools have different requirements for what AP scores they accept, so some students may not receive AP credit.
✅ Kenyon College offers an honors program for highly-qualified applicants, but does not offer a Freshman Honors College. Students must complete a senior project if they are in the Honors Program at Kenyon College.
❌ Kenyon College studets are not required to complete an internship.
Students can still look for internships during the summer, or gain work experience with a part-time job. While Kenyon College does not require internships for students of any major, internships are a great way to get work experience, discover career paths that might fit you, or rule out ones that don't.
The main library on campus is the Chalmers Library and there is one other library on campus.
A dual degree program allows a student to study and earn two degrees at the same time. A 3-2 dual degree program is a five-year program wherein the first three years are spend taking undergraduate courses and the final two years are spent taking graduate courses. Upon completion of the 5 years, the student will be awarded two degrees, a bachelor's degree and a master's degree.
Kenyon College offers these dual degree programs:
•3-2 dual degree program in engineering in partnership with Washington University in St. Louis, Case Western Reserve University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
•Environmental science with Duke University, education with The Bank Street College of Education
Does Kenyon College have any ROTC programs?
Each branch of the miltary has its own ROTC program, but not every program is available at every university. Possible programs include Army ROTC, Air Force ROTC, and Navy ROTC.
