There is no accelarated degree program at Douglas Education Center, but students who wish to save money or graduate early can look into transferring in credits. Douglas Education Center accepts transfer credits. The school accepts AP credit. Many students like to take classes in the summer, to earn extra credits. However, Douglas Education Center does not offer classes during the summer.

Student Designed Majors
Students must choose one of the majors offered by the college. Self-designed majors are not allowed.
Douglas Education Center does not require a senior project for all students.
Double Majoring at Douglas Education Center
At Douglas Education Center, students are not permitted to double major, and must choose just one area of study to focus on.
❌ Douglas Education Center does not offer services for students with disabilities.
❌ Douglas Education Center does not have distance learning options or fully-online programs, so students must be able to attend classes on-campus.
✅ Douglas Education Center offers some credit for Advanced Placement (AP) classes taken in high school. Schools have different requirements for what AP scores they accept, so some students may not receive AP credit.
❌ Douglas Education Center does not offer an honors program or a Freshman Honor College.
🟨 Douglas Education Center does not require an internship for all students, but does require an internship for students in some majors.
The main library on campus is the Douglas Education Center Library / Learning Resource Center and there are 2 other libraries on campus.
A dual degree program allows a student to study and earn two degrees at the same time.

Each branch of the miltary has its own ROTC program, but not every program is available at every school. Possible programs include Army ROTC, Air Force ROTC, and Navy ROTC.
