Campus Visit Notes for Ball State University

Visit Description:

Arranging the tour was very easy. I went online and chose the date of our visit. Was given the option of selecting her desired major and other areas of interest. We received a confirmation letter that gave us exactly what we wanted. Everything went off without a hitch. My daughter met with three different departments including the honors college. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. We felt as if we were getting the personal attention we've been getting from the small liberal arts schools we've visited. Ball State seems like the best of both worlds--small school feel with big school opportunities. The school seems to have its act together on every level. The facilities and campus are beautiful. People were very nice and helpful.

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

Stayed in the on-campus hotel rooms in the student center. Room was very small--2 twin beds. It was clean and convenient, but we will probably opt to stay at the Fairfield Inn next time.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

Ate in the Atrium and student center on campus. Plenty of choices; prices good.

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

No parking problems. School provided parking pass with tour confirmation letter. On-campus hotel gave us a pass for their lot.
