VUL is on a 5-acre campus in an urban setting in Lynchburg, Virginia. VUL has many clubs, organizations, and activities for students to participate in – chorus,, , and more.
VUL does not have fraternities or sororities.
The VUL community comes together each year for Founder's Day.
VUL offers housing. Students are not required to live on campus First year students are given no special consideration for on-campus housing.
Most VUL students live off campus. In 2021, 13% of undergrads at VUL lived in some kind of on-campus housing and 87% of students lived off-campus or commuted to VUL. There are 156 spots available in on-campus housing for all 430 undergraduates. In the 2020-21 school year, 12 students chose to live in campus housing. On the weekends, about 90% students stay on-campus. First year students are allowed to park a car on campus.VUL does not offer coed housing or housing for students with disabilities.
College is like a home away from home. Whether you're walking to class or coming back from late-night studying (or partying!), it's important to feel safe on campus. The VUL campus has emergency telephones or alarms for students to use anytime of day or night.
Additionally, VUL has monitored camera security system with electronic backup saved.
Visiting colleges is one of the best ways to get a sense of the campus and student body. If you'd like to visit to VUL, take Rt. 460 to Lynchburg, VA. If you need to fly, book your flight to Lynchburg Regional Airport airport.
