UMass Boston Academics

University of Massachusetts Boston requires at least 120 credits to graduate with a bachelor's degree. Students can choose the accelarated degree program if they would like to finish all the credits for graduation in less time than normal. Around 49% of students who started college at UMass Boston finish the requirements for graduation within six years. UMass Boston offers an orientation program before the start of fall classes to prepare new students for college life.
