San Diego Christian College Student Life

San Diego Christian College is on a 10-acre campus in a suburban setting in Santee, California, not far from San Diego. There are many activities and organizations for San Diego Christian College students to participate in – chorus,, , and more.

San Diego Christian College does not have fraternities or sororities.

San Diego Christian College has a thriving Fellowship of Christian Athletes. In fact, more students participate in Fellowship of Christian Athletes than any other on-campus activity.

Other popular student organizations at San Diego Christian College include Surfing Club, Yearbook Club, Dose of prayer and Volunteers Around the World.

San Diego Christian College Housing

San Diego Christian College offers housing. Students are required to live on campus through freshman year. First year students are given priority for on-campus housing.

The majority of San Diego Christian College students live on campus. In 2021, 55% of undergrads at San Diego Christian College lived in some kind of on-campus housing and 45% of students lived off-campus or commuted to San Diego Christian College. There are 348 spots available in on-campus housing for all 464 undergraduates. In the 2020-21 school year, 220 students chose to live in campus housing. First year students are allowed to park a car on campus.San Diego Christian College does not offer coed housing or housing for students with disabilities.

San Diego Christian College Athletics

At San Diego Christian College there are a variety of athletic options for students interested in joining a sports program.

Intercollegiate sports are the highest tier of college sports and can be very competitive. Intercollegiate teams are regulated by the NCAA, funded by the university, and compete against teams from other universities. The division of a sports team depends on the size of the unversity, funding, and compention level. An intercollegiate school team will be Division I, II or III, with Division I being the highest level.

Club sports are not regulated by the NCAA and are a great option for students not interested in trying out for an intercollegiate team. Club sports are usually student run but can also be funded by the university.

Intramural sports are the most casual and informal. Intramural sports are often free and require very little time commitment.
