Roanoke College Academics

Roanoke College requires at least 33.5 courses to graduate with a bachelor's degree. Students can choose the accelarated degree program if they would like to finish all the credits for graduation in less time than normal. Around 70% of students who started college at Roanoke College complete all the credits required within six years. Roanoke College offers an orientation program before the start of fall classes to prepare new students for college life.

Roanoke College has a core curriculum, which means there are certain classes or types of classes all students must take to graduate. Students need to fulfull a language requirement as well as a math and science requirement. Students are not required to take a computer class to graduate.
