Quinnipiac University

The clocktower of Quinnipiac University's Arnold Bernhard Library is the focal point of the Mount Carmel Campus, located in Hamden, Connecticut. The library is open to students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the fall and spring semesters.

One of the biggest sporting events on campus each year is the Quinnipiac vs. Yale hockey game. In this "Quinnipiac Day in the Life," Colin Murray '21, shows you what it's like to be a part of #BobcatNation for the greatest rivalry in college hockey. Talk about school spirit!

Irmagarde Tator Halll — or "Irma" as it's more affectionately known - is a community in itself, just steps away from the Quad and the Bobcat Den. Follow freshman Suzette Olesen as she shows you what it's like to live in a residence hall where everyone knows your name.

Sleeping Giant Mountain provides a dramatic backdrop for Quinnipiac's Mount Carmel Campus in suburban Hamden, CT. With miles of hiking and walking trails, Sleeping Giant State Park is a favorite of students, who enjoy hiking to the summit and taking in the panoramic views.

Quinnipiac students participate in community service work, including The Big Event, a national day of local service and Q-THON, a yearlong fundraising effort, which culminates in a 10-hour dance marathon. QU students raised $332,000. this year for the CT Children's Hospital.

The Terry W. Goodwin '67 Financial Technology Center is a technologically sophisticated, hands-on classroom with 40 workstations, where students learn how financial markets tick. Students have the opportunity to help manage a stock portfolio, currently valued at $1.75 million.

There's always plenty to do on campus! In addition to the nearly 150 student clubs that host events during the academic year, the Student Programming Board arranges two headliner concerts. In 2018, Khalid performed for students in the spring and AJR in the fall.

Quinnipiac broadcast communications major, Shanna McCarriston, interning at H2r Productions in Encino, California for the Cooking Channel show "Dinner at Tiffani's."

Quinnipiac student, Allison Kuhn, knows how important it is to get involved. Not only does she double major in finance and management, but she's also a member of the QU women's lacrosse team, a member of student government and on the yearbook staff. Follow her on a typical day!
