Palomar College Student Life

Palomar College is on a 156-acre campus in a suburban setting in San Marcos, California, not far from San Diego. There are many activities and organizations for Palomar College students to participate in – chorus, theater groups, a campus newspaper, a radio station and more.

Palomar College does not have fraternities or sororities.

Palomar College has a thriving SNAP (Student Nursing Association of Palomar College). In fact, more students participate in SNAP (Student Nursing Association of Palomar College) than any other on-campus activity.

Other popular student organizations at Palomar College include Alpha Omega Rho Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (international honor society), Active Minds, Student Veterans Organization and MEChA (Chicano organization).

The Palomar College community comes together each year for Discover Palomar, Comet Celebration and Springfest.
