Applying Early to NC State?

North Carolina State University does not offer early decision but does offer early action.

The Early Action deadline is November 1, which is coming up fast! NC State will release EA admissions decisions no later than January 30.

NC State accepts about 46% of early action applicants and 46% all applicants for all deadlines. Last year, NC State admitted 1,547 of the 22,686 who applied early action.

What GPA Do I Need To Get Into NC State?

Students admitted to NC State have an average unweighted GPA of 3.8.

Out of all students that were admitted, 77.4% submitted a class rank. At NC State 47% of students ranked in the top 10% of their graduating class in high school, 83% were in the top 25% and 98% were in the top 50%.
