LIM Student Life

LIM is in an urban setting in New York, New York, not far from New York City. There are many activities and organizations for LIM students to participate in – , a campus newspaper, and more.

LIM does not have fraternities or sororities.

LIM has a thriving Fashion Show Production Club. In fact, more students participate in Fashion Show Production Club than any other on-campus activity.

Other popular student organizations at LIM include Lexington Line Magazine, Student Life Activities Board, Dance Team and Black Retail Action Group.

LIM students' favorite campus events are Student-Run Fashion Show, Annual Drag Show and LIM Career Fair.

LIM Housing

LIM offers housing. Students are not required to live on campus First year students are given no special consideration for on-campus housing.

Most LIM students live off campus. In 2021, 21% of undergrads at LIM lived in some kind of on-campus housing and 79% of students lived off-campus or commuted to LIM. There are 400 spots available in on-campus housing for all 1,450 undergraduates.

College is like a home away from home. Whether you're walking to class or coming back from late-night studying (or partying!), it's important to feel safe on campus.

LIM College is patroled 24 hours a day by trained security. Campus housing is secure and dorms can only be accessed with secure key cards.
