Lafayette College Academics

Lafayette College requires at least 32-36 courses to complete a bachelor's degree. Students can choose the accelarated degree program if they would like to finish all the credits for graduation in less time than normal. Around 90% of students who started college at Lafayette College graduate within six years. Lafayette College offers an orientation program before the start of fall classes to prepare new students for college life.

Lafayette College has a core curriculum, which means there are certain classes or types of classes all students must take to graduate. Students need to fulfull a language requirement as well as a math and science requirement. Students do not have to take a computer class.
