Holy Cross is on a 174-acre campus in a suburban setting in Worcester, Massachusetts, not far from Boston. There are many activities and organizations for Holy Cross students to participate in – band, chorus, theater groups, a campus newspaper, a radio station and more.
Holy Cross does not have fraternities or sororities.
Holy Cross has a thriving Student Programs for Urban Development. In fact, more students participate in Student Programs for Urban Development than any other on-campus activity.

The majority of Holy Cross students live on campus. In 2021, 90% of undergrads at Holy Cross lived in some kind of on-campus housing and 10% of students lived off-campus or commuted to Holy Cross. There are 2,507 spots available in on-campus housing for all 2,997 undergraduates. On the weekends, about 90% students stay on-campus. First year students are not allowed to park a car on campus.
