Centre College

Centre is on a 160-acre campus in a small town setting in Danville, KY. There are many activities and organizations for Centre students to participate in – chorus, theater groups, a campus newspaper, and more.

Centre also has fraternities and sororities.

Centre has a thriving Student Government Association. In fact, more students participate in Student Government Association than any other on-campus activity.

Other popular student organizations at Centre include Centre Action Reaches Everyone, Student Activities Council, Christian fellowship group and Diversity Student Union.

Centre students' favorite campus traditions are Homecoming, Spring Carnival and Family Weekend.

Centre Housing

Centre offers housing. Students are required to live on campus through senior year. First year students are guaranteed on-campus housing.

The majority of Centre students live on campus. In 2021, 99% of undergrads at Centre lived in some kind of on-campus housing and 1% of students lived off-campus or commuted to Centre. First year students are allowed to park a car on campus.

Centre offers coed housing and housing for students with disabilities.

Centre College is patroled 24 hours a day by trained security. The Centre campus has emergency telephones or alarms for students to use anytime of day or night.

Centre offers late-night transportation or safety escorts for students. Dorms can only be accessed with secure key cards so that students can feel confident that they are safe in on-campus housing.
