Bluffton University Student Life

Bluffton University is on a 65-acre campus in a small town setting in Bluffton, Ohio, not far from Dayton. There are many activities and organizations for Bluffton University students to participate in – chorus, theater groups, a campus newspaper, a radio station and more.

Bluffton University does not have fraternities or sororities.

Bluffton University has a thriving Marbeck Center Board. In fact, more students participate in Marbeck Center Board than any other on-campus activity.

Other popular student organizations at Bluffton University include Multicultural Student Organization, Bluffton Education Association, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Bluffton University Business Leaders.

The Bluffton University community comes together each year for Dam Jam, Cabaret for a Cause and Riley Creek Festival.

Bluffton University Housing

Bluffton University offers housing. Students are required to live on campus through senior year. First year students are guaranteed on-campus housing.

The majority of Bluffton University students live on campus. In 2021, 84% of undergrads at Bluffton University lived in some kind of on-campus housing and 16% of students lived off-campus or commuted to Bluffton University. First year students are allowed to park a car on campus.

Bluffton University offers coed housing and housing for students with disabilities.

Is Bluffton University Safe?

College is like a home away from home. Whether you're walking to class or coming back from late-night studying (or partying!), it's important to feel safe on campus. The Bluffton University campus has emergency telephones or alarms for students to use anytime of day or night. Dorms can only be accessed with secure key cards so that students can feel confident that they are safe in on-campus housing.
