Bethany College is on a 80-acre campus in a small town setting in Lindsborg, Kansas. Bethany College has many clubs, organizations, and activities for students to participate in – chorus, theater groups, a campus newspaper, and more.
Bethany College does not have fraternities or sororities.
Bethany College has a thriving Student Activities Board (SAB). In fact, more students participate in Student Activities Board (SAB) than any other on-campus activity.
Other popular student organizations at Bethany College include Alpha Theta Chi, Alpha Sigma Nu, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and Bethany Youth Ministries Team.
Bethany College students' favorite campus traditions are Handel's Messiah by the Bethany Oratorio Society, Homecoming Events/Talent Show and Midnight Movie and Bowling.
Bethany College offers housing. Students are required to live on campus through junior year. First year students are guaranteed on-campus housing.
The majority of Bethany College students live on campus. In 2021, 82% of undergrads at Bethany College lived in some kind of on-campus housing and 18% of students lived off-campus or commuted to Bethany College. There are 449 spots available in on-campus housing for all 775 undergraduates. In the 2020-21 school year, 447 students chose to live on-campus. On the weekends, about 75% students stay on-campus. First year students are allowed to park a car on campus.
Bethany College offers coed housing and housing for students with disabilities.
College is like a home away from home. Whether you're walking to class or coming back from late-night studying (or partying!), it's important to feel safe on campus. The Bethany College campus has emergency telephones or alarms for students to use anytime of day or night. Dorms can only be accessed with secure key cards so that students can feel confident that they are safe in on-campus housing.
Additionally, Bethany College has night patrols by security personnel.
