There are many activities and organizations for Alverno College students to join – including chorus, theater groups, a campus newspaper, a radio station and more.

Interested in Greek life? Alverno College does not have fraternities or sororities.

Alverno College has the Alverno College Student Nursing Association. In fact, more students participate in the Alverno College Student Nursing Association than any other on-campus activity.

Other popular student organizations at Alverno College include Alverno College Music Therapy Student Organization, Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee, Women of Asian Ethnicity and Alverno Student Healthcare Association.

The Alverno College community comes together each year for Convocation, Homecoming and Community Day.

Most Alverno College students live off campus. There are 269 spots available in on-campus housing for all 917 undergraduates. In the 2021-2022 school year, 117 students chose to live in campus housing. On the weekends, about 40% students stay on-campus. First year students are allowed to park a car on campus.
