They were all very, very nice, and extremely social. They wanted to know more about me, even some random kid who was walking to class.

OMG! You wouldn't believe how perfect it looks. I've been to Cornell and Columbia, and I would certainly say Hamilton's beauty is comparable, if not greater.

Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness:

Very clean. They are very concerned about the environment and stuff, so they also had a lot of recycling bins and such.

Dormitories:

So I saw a quad, and it was amazing. It was one living room with a tv and couch, then another room with the four beds, and then another room with storage and the bathroom connected. AMAZING!

Are you kidding, it is the safest place in the world.

Overall Campus Impression:

For those who really care about the campus appearance and such, I think Hamilton would suck you in.

Off-Campus:

Area Immediately Around Campus:

It is certainly a cute area, but it has literally nothing. And the small shops that do exist are really expensive. Two slices of pizza was about $6.00 at this one place.

City/Town/Community:

The folks in the town seem to be nice, religious folks. It's the country side, so this is not too surprising. But they are very nice, and the young laddies are A+ ;)

Campus Visit Notes for Hamilton College

Visit Description:

I went to the recent open house, and it was amazing, partially due to the unusually brilliant weather. They showed some new classroom technology which was really cool, the food was pretty good, I stayed in on a class, they let you wander around on your own after the tour, it is really awesome.

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

Stay at the Ramada about 6 miles from the campus

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

If you live in NY, Connecticut, NJ, or MA, I would just drive there.
