Campus Visit Notes for Florida State University

Visit Description:

We attended an admitted student preview to help our D make her final decision. Arrived a day early with appointments lined up with The Classics Department and Disabilities Services. Totally amazed at the information we received. Very proactive in disability services for a learning disability as well as physical. We would not have been able to speak to everyone we wanted to if we had limited to one day. Preview was excellent. Went to FSU Teach for Math education. No one minded our questions or time consumed. FSU teach is an incredible program for anyone wanting to become a secondary or middle school math teacher. Graduate with 2 majors in math and education. Very impressed with campus and students and academics

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

Stayed at Aloft, problems galore, oversold, air mattress, had to sleep in king "family style" airbed failed. Price was right though after our discounts for inconvenience

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

Don't miss the Suwanee dining hall on campus.
