what is the difference betweed na weighted and unweighted GPA?

Weighted is your GPA with Honors / AP classes counted in. Taking such classes gives you extra points towards your weighted! Unweighted factors in your overall GPA but doesn't count in extra points awarded for Honors / AP.
So you could have a 3.0 Unweighted for example and a 4.0 weighted!
