To all you acceptees to these elite schools:Williams, Amherst, Stanford, Harvard, Georgetown, Princeton,and/or anyone. I'm a sophomore how can i stand out from the crowd when i apply to college in 2yrs. What kind of awards do they like to see. Academically, I'm fine.I am taking most demanding courses. My Ecs are average Forensics, Model UN etc. I want to major in political science/int'l relations. Please help me i don't want to be another face in the crowd.

Lol, you seem kinda determined. I also plan on majoring in political science/intern. relations. As for me im in my junior year of highschool and since problems arose with the highschool, I am now taking courses at a local cc. Basically you need to do something that will stand out, and thats up to you. It can be from curing cancer or spending countless hours helping kids in Africa. Or, studying all your courses in another language.

You're off to a bad start. (Hint: Browse around these boards for a few minutes and you'll see.)
