What do you guys all think?
I have this one teacher who is new this year. One quarter (two months) has passed, and I'm wondering if it'd be ok if I got a rec from him? I take TWO classes with him, and I am on very good terms with him. I feel like he knows me pretty well too.
The only reason I am doing this is because all the teachers that I considered worthy of rec-writing in previous years (or would write something good about me) have left (our school has a high turnover rate), except for one--and I'm already asking her to write me a rec.
I don't think it's really a bad thing and my school counselor says it's alright.. what do you guys think?

That's a very good question that I also need answered. I had one teacher that I've had for 4 years, but he left last year. I personally don't think it's that bad as long as your other rec is excellent.
Anyone else?

I'd track down the teacher you had for 4 years and ask him for a recommendation, even if he has left the school.
