Hey,
Last summer, I did an internship at Discovery Science Center, and I would like to do a more impressive internship next summer. I don't know where to go or look for. Help me!
I know some people go to Jet Propulsion Lab for internships. Do you know if this is open to the public?
Any science/math internship would be fine.
Thanks!

I assume you are a junior? If you are now a senior, skip my comments!
Are you seeking just a good looking name on your application, or a meaningful lab experience? If the latter, skip JPL. It's better for postdocs than for HS students, I suspect.
IMHO, you should focus on learning and doing, not on "impressive". If you actually get to do something interesting, it would be great essay fodder, for instance.

I don't really have any specific suggestions, but have you tried seeing if Chapman University offers any programs?
