Hi,
I'm thinking to apply to Ecole Hoteliere Lausanne, and they do require IB certificates.
My school doesn't offer IB diploma or certificates, and only one offers in Hawaii. If I were just to earn certificates (maybe 3?), can it be done during summer (ex: summer school), or like weekend/after school programs?
Or do I have to apply to that school even if it were to meant just earning few certificates?
Thank you.

i think in order to receive credit for ib certificates, you have to take the courses from a school that offers the IB program, then pass the test on those subjects before you can actually be rewarded a certificate. IB requires certain classtime hours and internal projects/papers done in the class before you can actually take an exam that is moderated/graded by IB.
i wouldnt think that you would be able to obtain an ib certificate through summer school or weekend/after school programs. never heard of anyone doing it, but maybe you can ask and try?
