hey! i am in academic decathlon, and I was wondering what you guys were going to write about for your speeches? It has to be about something in decathlon or something important to you. I was interested in what kind of topics you guys are choosing.

Ive done Aca Deca for 2 years at my school .
This yearwe dont have it, teacher is pregnant.
Anyway at California State Comp my friend did his on baccon. Just baccon. He ot a 780 on his speech which is nt ad at all. Another girl did her's on "shopping is a sport" got a 920. i did Mexafornia the future of California got a 830. I feel u need an unbiaed silly kind of topic to score high . if its serious of controversail at all u will not score in the 850 plus range.
Topic this year overall is space right,, sounds better than last year.
