hey, iwas involved in an indie/ emo band from the summer of 2002 to the summer of 2003. i was the main singer and songwriter. could i put this on a colleg app? thanks.

Definitely put it on. This will stand out from the typical volunteering/school paper/spanish club ECs and colleges will like you

It indeed (in my opinion) is an excellent idea to put that on your college app. I am the leader of a metal band. I am the rhythm guitar player. We haven't won any battle of the bands, or any awards, nor were we selected for radio.
I'm definately putting that on my college app
