I taught it'd be cool if we all learned about eachother.
I go to Coral Springs High, the typical suburban high school in Coral Springs, Fl next to Ft. Lauderdale. My prospective college is Columbia University. I have no idea how I ended up in the middle of suburbia. Dad's family grew up in the Bronx,Ny. My dad got a really great education there for free from Leman Colege(City College of NYC). He was taught by Nobel Lauriates and a secretary of state and CCNY still holds the position for most nobel lauriates teaching at a public college. Ha Berkley!!! If my dad was 10 years older he'd go to school with Colin Powell. That's cool cause I truly respect him. Grandpa got full scholarship to Columbia and his Bro got doctorate at Georgetown and taught at VMI.
I think it'd be really interseting to learn about you guys.

I go to Hamilton Central in Hamilton, NY, and have been going there since I was 5, since it's a K-12 school. My prospective colleges are Brown, Northwestern, Haverford, Swarthmore, Grinnell, and Case Western. And if I don't get into any of them, then I'll take a road trip to Oregon where it's legal to be euthanized. Heh, not really. But I just found out about legal assisted suicide in Oregon today, and thought it was really cool.

I'm a homeschooled chick in CA. The schools here = sux0rz and everything. long story. they're revenovating and suffering from budgets etc. I haven't been thinking obsessively about what colleges, but berkeley, stanford, nyu, and yale have caught my eye. :]

I go to public h.s. in Lexington MA; my parents chose the suburb over others in MA to move to when I was in 4th grade for the "good school system" and for that I am very grateful as I have met many wonderful people whom i can't love enough, school continues to one-up me to my pleasure and I actually like it here despite my heart still lying in the Midwest. I am only a sophomore and my aspirations change every week, like the other day I wanted to go to Oxford and last month I wanted to skip college and be a truck driver. All of these dreams however involve heavy immersion in the Classics believe it or not, but anyway I suppose I am officially "considering" harvard (hahahaha), university of Chicago (er but I hate their application it is quite generic despite assertions to the contrary except for the essays and you cannot send a foreign language recommendation), Swarthmore, bryn mawr, and the University of Cincinnati.

Yeah, I'm in Scence and Tech. No, it's not that hard, but RP (which is Research Practicum) senior year (which I will have), will be REALLY hard and stressful. You have to take a lot of science classes, which is annoying because I don't want to be a doctor.
P.S. Jer728- PG may suck, but ERHS is a good school. Montgomery County kids...Geez.

TechieDork, Holton Arms is freakin gigantic! I just came from SAT Prep there and had to park in some lower lot which forced me to walk through like 4 buildings just to get back to the main theater. Good times.
