frankly i think a dream school should be a school that doesn't actually exist. It should be a highly idealized entity that exists within our minds only. In that sense, I would like a campus structured like tian an men square in beijing, with a series of buildings similar to Low Library at Columbia and Widener at Yale, a few gothic chapels (Yale, Duke, Chicago), and add on vast commons of lush grass (like a lot of state schools). Academically it would have an amazing core curriculum. Basically, it would be directed studies (like at yale) but incorporating both western and eastern civilization in a two year sequence. Then the major would be selected out of mostly international fields. Law would be a dual degree program, and a 5 year BA/JD program would be available. how's that? i'd be interested in hearing other ideas.

With it's neoclassical architecture, the city, the great core, the history, the Liberal Arts, the prestige, the singles, the job opportunities, who could resist!?!?

MIT, but they banned triple majoring. They have a pretty good campus, weird architecture, fairly decent dorms, and lots of clubs. I actually saw a flier there for an Esperanto club.
