Hey guys, I'm a rising junior now and I'm starting to look at colleges. Some of them (not the top Ivy ones of course) let you in at the end of your junior year if they find that your qualified enough. If you had the choice, would you apply for early admission, considering the fact that you'll probably stick out from most people due to the age difference?

Not really. Why would anyone want to miss their senior year in high school? After all... we've been dreaming about this year since kindergarten!

I almost did it... I wanted to do USC RHP... I only had a 1400 though... So I decided to just wait another year and apply for reg admissions to the big ones... Which I'll be doing next year...

Can I apply EA to Georgetown and ED to Columbia? Or is that not allowed?

not allowed. You can't apply to a binding program with GTown's EA.

I know that if you apply Early Admission to Harvard that you're not allowed to apply EA to any other school.

Are there any schools that let you apply EA to however many places you want?

How will Harvard know if you have applied EA to another school?

Schools will put out lists, if you do apply to more schools, they're definately not going to accept you...

From what I read on these message boards, some kid applied to Columbia ED and another school EA. The deal was that if Columbia accepted him, he was obligated to turn down the other school.
