Hi everyone. I attend an almost homogenously white high school in Michigan. It is a terrible atmosphere for the students are not exposed to the amount of cultural/ethnic diversity that is healthy. I am part of a small student-run group at the high school trying to do what we can to promote diversity, and we are running out of ideas. Therefore, my question goes to you. What is the situation like (diversity-wise) at your high school and do you know of any attempts to help allieviate (if it needs such) the situation?

Hi Denster,
I attend a diverse private school in Metro Detroit. Several years ago we held a Multicultural Day that was not ONLY based on race. It was a success. If you will like anymore information, please ask for my e-mail address.
